2019 Road Trip From Norway to Ghana

My name is Jørn Bjørn Augestad. I am 29 years old and I originally come from a small island in Norway called Finnøy. Having to take a boat to school every day and with almost nothing to do on weekends and afternoons, I decided at the age of 16 to go on an exchange year in Austria. Looking back, that was the definitive moment of my life, when my travel addiction started. Having the opportunity to visit the neighboring countries and to experience new cultures, I started to feel “rootless”- like I didn’t belong anywhere. It is since then that I have been hooked on spending time away from what I used to call home.
I go by the nickname ”Vagabjorn”, with Bjorn meaning ”bear” in Scandinavian and vagabonding being my profession. My travel addiction has led me on a quest to visit the world’s 201 countries (http://www.201countries.com) by 2019, and after that I wish to show people my favorite destinations and travels styles, with overlanding West Africa being one of them.

Hi ladies and gents,
I'm a 25 year old French Canadian moving around. I have been travelling the last 4 years and have accomplished my childhood dream of going around the world. After two years, when I came back to my starting point, Montreal, I realised there was much more to travelling than I had done and I set out again to follow what I love, my true passion, wandering around wondering what to eat next.
I want to do this trip because Africa is truly awesome. I really enjoy road trips and it's a damn shame that parts of the world are closed up from one another otherwise I'd be driving everywhere.
